After 30 years of working in the printing industry as a commercial artist, I realized it was time to stop following others’ visions and pursue my own.

The challenge was creating something unique and valuable for my passion, whether it’s dirt bikes or art. I wanted others to see and appreciate the hard work and time I had invested in my creations.

My name is Dan Porter, and I’m the founder, president, creative, sales, and everything else involved in running a small business. I’m incredibly fortunate to have a woman by my side who has been with me for over 25 years, putting up with my antics, injuries, and cockamamie ideas. Crazy enough, she has always been my biggest supporter, except for one thing: Mtn. Vacations. We have two teenagers, and we love them, but that’s all I’ll go into for now. You get it!

In 2016, we moved to Arizona,and after watching bikes drive by me all the time. That inspired me to get back on a bike. Arizona is renowned for its world-class OHV and trail riding opportunities. I feel incredibly fortunate to have so many places to ride. You don’t seem to have that back in Dirty Jersey!

Terrain’s mission is evolving over time and requires investment. We’ve begun here in Arizona, delivering professionally designed and printed graphic kits for enduro, motocross, adventure bikes, and race teams. We consider ourselves a boutique at this stage, prioritizing quality over quantity. Communication and integrity are our top priorities, and that’s where we differ. You’ll talk to me directly, not just clicking around on a site.

The Arizona off-road and dirtbike community has been nothing short of amazing. It’s hard to imagine my life without it. It’s only been a short year, and my supporters here fuel me to keep pushing forward while also being mindful of giving back.
